Suzuki has expanded its presence in the Midlands, with Leicester-based Arnolds Motorcycles taking on the Japanese brand.

The dealership was established in 1970 by Arnold de Rijk, initially selling pedal cycles and mopeds in Loughborough. Now run by Piet and Scott de Rijk, Arnolds holds a reputation for friendly service and expert advice from nearly 50 years’ experience in the motorcycle trade, and with the addition of the Suzuki franchise will continue to be a hub for the region’s motorcycling community.

Scott de Rijk said: “We are delighted to be back with Suzuki again, and have found the team to be a pleasure to work with. They’ve done superb job on the VI [visual identity] for the newly refurbished showroom, and we are confident in the future.”

Jonathan Martin, Suzuki GB head of motorcycling, said: “Piet and Scott de Rijk and the team boast a lot of experience and knowledge of motorcycling and the industry while also maintaining a professional image and high standard of service for their customers. Arnolds Motorcycles offer important qualities that we value as a brand, and we are thrilled to have them on board and help us expand Suzuki’s presence in the Midlands.”
