BMW led the way at its home show in Cologne, launching four machines to a packed press presence. Stefan Schaller, CEO of BMW Motorrad, announced the arrival of the updated BMW S1000R before unveiling the stripped-back R nineT Pure and R nineT Racer. The Racer brings a new, sporty look and riding experience to the company's Heritage range and is inspired by the half-faired sports bikes of the past but with contemporary technology.

Last up was the latest K1600 - the GT.
