Danish custom-bike-builder Lauge Jensen is the first motorcycle manufacturer in the world to pass the new EURO4 emissions regulations. The EURO4 emissions laws, due to come into force on 1 January 2016, are being introduced to cut the amount of harmful exhaust gases produced by motorcycles. The new rules are almost 50% more difficult to pass than the current EURO3 standard.

Lauge Jensen specialises in creating personalised premium cruiser motorcycles to its customers’ specification.  Prices for the ‘1-Eleven Squarehead’ start at €52,800, excluding local taxes and VAT.

In 2012, successful businessman Anders Kirk Johansen became the owner of Lauge Jensen after hearing about a local motorcycle builder who ‘wanted to put Denmark back on the world map for motorcycle production after the demise of Nimbus in the 1960s, through genuine craftsmanship, ingenuity and courage’.
