Harley-Davidson returns to Manchester in March with a new store that is “bigger, better and better located”.

The dealership was previously in Stockport before it closed more than six years ago. Now Manchester Harley-Davidson is to be resurrected in Chester Road, between the Old Trafford cricket ground and the Manchester United football stadium.

Since the closure of the Stockport store, many of its customers have used Chester H-D, whose director, Kirk Herbert, has now taken the plunge to re-establish the American marque in Manchester.

Herbert, director at Chester Harley–Davidson and Chester Motorrad, told BDN: “We have been working on building a new dealership in Manchester over the past four years. Now everything has become a reality.

“Our aim was to create a home again for the surrounding chapters and bring Harley-Davidson back to Manchester."
