Phil Crossman is to take over as managing director of Honda (UK) from Dave Hodgetts who is moving to Honda Motors Europe as European regional auditor. Both appointments are effective from 1 April.

For the past two years, Crossman has been general manager responsible for Honda (UK) car sales and before that was head of dealer development for cars, motorcycles and power products. He joined Honda from Nissan in 2000.

Moving to the new post of European regional auditor, Hodgetts will be responsible for the business performance assessment of 27 markets in the European region as well as those in the Middle East, Russia and Africa. His role will also encompass Honda’s six European manufacturing and eight logistics operations. He has been managing director of Honda (UK) for three years and prior to that had a variety of management roles at Honda’s Swindon car plant.
