Pierer Mobility increased its sales by 7.1% to 280,099 KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles during 2019, reports BDN financial editor Roger Willis. This volume growth represented a ninth consecutive record year and underlines status as Europe’s largest bike manufacturer.

And following approval by anti-trust authorities for acquisition of a majority stake in GasGas, the company has announced that it will fully integrate the GasGas motorcycle division — based at Girona in Spain — as a third brand alongside KTM and Husqvarna.

Pierer Mobility is also planning to list on the Börse Frankfurt in Germany during the first quarter of 2020, in order to increase the trading liquidity of its shares in the eurozone. After this listing has been completed, Pierer will seek to delist from the Wiener Börse in Austria. A primary listing on Switzerland’s SIX exchange in Zürich will remain unchanged.
