John Surtees will be one of the star attractions at the Edenbridge, Kent Fun Day on Bank Holiday Monday (27 May). The event in Surtees’ home town will feature a parade along Edenbridge High Street, which is being closed for the afternoon, and will include his 1960 MV Agusta and 1954 BMW Rennsport. The event is to raise awareness and funds for the Henry Surtees Foundation, established by John Surtees following the death of his son competing in a Formula 2 race in 2009 aged 18. The Foundation aims to give youngsters the experience, disciplines and learning that two and four wheel motorsport offers.
