BMTR are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join the team within Bike Tyrestore.  One of the key and exciting aspects of this role will be to support our expanding partnership with Pirelli.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager your role will be to:
  • Take responsibility for managing an existing set of accounts
  • Develop existing accounts and build long-term relationships
  • Find and develop new business opportunities
  • Plan and oversee marketing initiatives
  • Work with minimal guidance, be pro-active and self-motivated
  • Understand customer needs and respond effectively
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective clients
The Person
Ideally a successful Business Development Manager with at least 3 years’ experience in the motorcycle industry, preferably tyre related. The role would suit a passionate and energetic individual looking for a new challenge in a growing business.
To be successful in the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following core competencies:
  • Experience and proven track record within a field sales role is essential
  • A strong commercial awareness
  • An analytical mindset, able to strategize, implement and deliver growth and profitability
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships both inside and outside of the business
  • Work with minimal guidance and be pro-active
  • Good IT knowledge and skills, to include Excel
  • Full car licence essential and a motorcycle licence an advantage
As this is a national role the ideal candidate with live within the Midlands with the flexibility to travel and stay away from home overnight.
