Wheels and Tyres

Dunlop has launched three sets of new tyres for 2020.

The Geomax MX53 is a motocross tyre designed for intermediate terrain.

It claims to offer improved predicability and slide control compared with its forebears and is also said to be better on soft ground without losing its ability on firmer soil. It comes in a huge range of sizes from 10-21in at the front and 10-19in at the rear.

The Geomax EN91 is a full-on competition enduro tyre which promises improved performance in dry, wet and mixed conditions as well as enhanced feedback. The application of hex-shaped and tilted crown blocks is said to contribute to improved grip thanks to the increase in biting edges. It comes in 90/90-21 front and 120/90-18 and 140/80-18 rear sizes.

Last but not least is the new Mutant. A crossover tyre which boast 370 different model fitments, the Mutant uses Dunlop’s “four seasons technology”  which combines sport and touring tyre technology with wet-weather racing knowledge. This has resulted in the Mutant being given an official M+S (mud and snow) rating. It comes in five front and six rear sizes suitable for a vast array of adventure, naked, scrambler and retro machinery.
