With a name which evokes images of Mark Bolan in his pomp, the new Glamster is the latest addition to Shoei’s NeoRetro range. The existing J.O open-face and Ex-Zero enduro-style models have been joined by the full-face, classic style Glamster to complete the line-up.

Despite the retro looks, the Glamster uses modern Shoei technology such as a multi-composite fibre shell with a multiple-density EPS liner and a removable and washable comfort liner. Small, mesh-lined chin vents and an adjustable forehead vent take air in which then exits via two small exhaust vents hidden in the neck area.

There are three different shell sizes to ensure the helmets’ profile is as small as possible, and it comes in sizes XS-XXL in a range of plain colours - off-white, grey, matt or gloss black or a bright metallic Laguna blue - for £399 or with suitably retro-themed graphic options for £499.
