EICMA 2020 cancelled

The 78th edition of EICMA, the International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition, which was scheduled from 3 – 8 November 2020 in the pavilions of Fiera Milano in Rho, has been postponed to 2021.

In a statement Paolo Magri, CEO of EICMA SPA commented “It was a hard and unprecedented decision but one that had to be taken in order to protect the two-wheeled world, both exhibitors and visitors alike.”

EICMA 2021 is scheduled to take place between the 9 – 14 November at the events Rho Fiera home.  November the 9th and 10th being reserved for press and trade visitors.

Magri went on the say “The lockdown that we have experienced has also imposed complex social and above all economic challenges on our sector which make us act on a wide scale in the interests of exhibitors and all our visitors” and went on to say “This is why I confirm the company is already working on next year’s show, which will have great symbolic value for the whole sector and which I hope can make a significant contribution to developing the resilience of our productive fabric and to overcoming the difficult and exceptional situation.”
