NEW ROLE FOR PARTS EUROPE DIRECTOR

Bruce Schumacher, head of purchasing at leading motorcycle aftermarket distributor Parts Europe, has been elevated to the position of purchasing director at the company’s US parent LeMans Corporation. LeMans dominates the American aftermarket with its Parts Unlimited, Drag Specialties, Moose, Icon, Thor, Arctiva, Slippery and Z1R brand portfolio. Besides his new job, Schumacher will continue to run purchasing at Parts Europe — which now has a significant UK presence.

Commenting on the appointment, LeMans chairman and founder Fred Fox said: “Bruce Schumacher has been a valued member of the LeMans team for many years. Most recently, he has been very instrumental in our successful expansion into the European market.”

Schumacher is replacing Mike Collins, who has been promoted to become chief executive of LeMans.
