oxford ducati on podium and wins award

The Oxford Racing 888 Ducati finished third at the Classic TT, lapping faster than any 888 Ducati has ever lapped the iconic 37.3 mile course before with an average lap time of 124.97. The bike was just 1.4 seconds off the second position.

The distribution company sponsor says it was “a massive result, with all credit going to Stafford Evans for producing such a wonderful motorcycle and for James Hillier’s amazing riding talent on the Isle of Man”.

The Oxford Racing 888 Ducati is a replica of the race bike Oxford competed with at BSB and the Isle of Man in 1992 and 1993. The best result we had back then was an 8th position and never a lap over 120mph.

“The bike looked amazing in 1992 and 27 years later still looks fantastic, winning the team the concours award for having the best presented bike and team.”
