A Hampshire-based motor insurance broker which runs its own in-house apprenticeship scheme is helping to nurture talent on the racetrack as well as in the classroom.

Be Wiser Insurance, based in Andover, has been sponsoring a team in the Superstock series of motorbike racing for the past three years.

The company has now increased its sponsorship to the team, run by ex-racer Tommy Hill, to enable it to compete in the British Superbikes championship for 2015.

Mirroring their training academy, which is run by experienced trainers helping to nurture young talent, the Be Wiser Kawasaki team has signed-up 42-year-old Chris Walker, a four-time runner-up in the British Superbikes championship and a former winner in the World Superbike championship; and up-and-coming 21-year-old Danny Buchan.

Be Wiser Kawasaki launched its new team livery at Motorcycle Live.
