CAROLE NASH GOOGLES FOR A DIGITAL CHIEF

Motorcycle insurance market leader Carole Nash has appointed Hein Kuiper to a newly-created boardroom position of chief digital officer. Apart from steering digital transformation programmes across the business, he will also assume leadership of Carole Nash’s marketing team.

Kuiper is best-known for his senior role at Google, where he led expansion of its insurance price comparison service into mainland Europe. That job included overseeing product design, web engineering, integration management and user experience. Notably, Kuiper launched Google’s offering into the French market in just seven months.

Commenting on Kuiper’s appointment, Carole Nash chief executive David Newman said: “It is a real coup for us to recruit Hein. He has a strong pedigree in developing digital marketing strategies for a number of household-name brands. We look forward to him making a major contribution to the next phase of Carole Nash’s evolution.”
