convoy tribute for dealer steve tucker

Motorcycle dealer Steve Tucker passed away on 13 August after a short illness. He was 60 years old.

Steve ran Hedgehog Motorcycles in Barnstaple, North Devon, also known as The House of Hog, with his wife, Sue, who has invited customers and fellow bikers to join a convoy to a service to celebrate Steve’s life.

The service will be held at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple, next Tuesday (27 August) at 9:40am.

A motorcycle hearse which will be waiting near Rawle, Gammon and Bakers, Pottington Industrial Estate, and is estimated to lead anyone who wishes to follow to the crematorium, so best to meet before 9am.

A wake will be held at The Park Hotel at 11.15am (opposite Rock Park) Barnstaple. All are welcome.  There will be a buffet, tea and coffee in the hotel and also a musician playing in Rock Park if anyone should just wish to sit and listen, contemplate or maybe share a story or two with other guests.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, should be directed to the North Devon Hospice and may be made at the service.

Steve was known for his charity fundraising (second picture). A notice read: “Loved and so deeply admired by all members of his family both here and in Australia and by his many friends worldwide.”
