dealers asked to keep an eye out for stolen R1

Surrey Police are asking motorcycle dealers to be on the look out for a distinctive Yamaha YZF-R1 stolen between the evening of Monday 20 November, and Tuesday 21 November.

The bike was a 60th Anniversary Limited Edition in yellow and black Kenny Roberts colours. The registration is LJ16 MMZ, and is described as one of a kind due to the upgrades, and only a limited number of them were produced.

PC Adam Springett, who is investigating the incident said: “I would urge anyone who may be offered a motorbike of this description or see it for sale, to please let us know. “
