Ducati Glasgow Donates Bike to Charity Auction

A charity auction to be held as part of a prestigious hotel’s 25th anniversary celebrations has been given a massive boost by a dealer.

Ducati Glasgow is donating a motorcycle to help the charity push on behalf of Action for Children and the Foundation for Young People. The auction will be held on 16 September. The dealership is still to announce the model of machine it will be donating.

A spokesman for Ducati Glasgow said: “We are overwhelmed to be invited to the Hilton Glasgow 25th Birthday Ball and to be able to support Action for Children and Foundation for Young People. We are a family owned and operated business, therefore we understand the importance of providing young people with practical and emotional skills needed to be able to thrive in adulthood.

“Motorcycling goes hand in hand with this as it can be a great method for building confidence, independence, learning new skills and improving social situations. The bike we will be donating will be an entry-level ‘first big bike’ to help raise awareness in young adults that there are exciting and effective ways to drive their ambitions and opportunities forward, while learning to be fearless and taking control of situations safely, appropriately and independently. We are looking forward to the event and hopefully inspiring others to support and sponsor.”
