Fireblade Selfie contest steers Facebook users to dealers

Honda has launched an innovative social media campaign to promote the new Honda Fireblade. The manufacturer is using Facebook to engage fans in a live automated conversion using personalised videos. The campaign offers the chance to win a Honda Fireblade, worth more than £15,000, by encouraging audiences to upload a selfie with one of the Fireblades displayed at an official Honda dealer, using the hashtag #FirebladeSelfie.

The two-way conversation will use a fan’s postcode to locate their nearest dealership as well as user data and photos to deliver a personalised “good luck” video. The campaign looks to drive visitors to engage with Honda dealerships across the UK, as well as encouraging fans to share across their social channels, to ensure maximum reach and engagement.

The multi-layered campaign is supported by media spend on Facebook and Twitter as well as through Honda’s owned media and CRM.
