help jason fieldsend reach his charity challenge target

Jason Fieldsend of bike trade insurance specialist Wilby has completed his Land’s End to John O’Groats ‘banger’ run in aid of Cancer Research – but not without a drama.

Fieldsend, pictured at the finishing post at John O’Groats, was part of a group of charity riders on bikes worth less than £300 each and, as the name suggests, the Longest Day Down Challenge took place on the summer solstice, 21 June.

Unfortunately for Fieldsend, his £300 Kawasaki was not up to the challenge and, once expired, was replaced with a Yamaha Tracer 700, thanks to a helpful local dealer. He eventually completed the run at 2.30am yesterday and was still at Newcastle when he phoned in to BDN at 11am today.

So far, Fieldsend has raised £585 but still needs help to reach his £825 target.
