Honda sets the pace for Ride to Work week

Honda is planning a full experience this year for the Ride to Work Day on 16 June, beginning with a build-up programme the week before to suit experienced and new riders alike.

At head office on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th June Honda is providing accompanied test rides for full licence holders wanting to try its new models.  On Wednesday the entire Honda motorcycle team will have the opportunity to try a range of models on a lunch run. Thursday and Friday are reserved for potential new entrants looking for their first taste of two wheels.

There will be an opportunity to  “have a go” throughout the two days which will be supported by Honda’s new programme, The Honda Motorcycle Experience, recently established at Donington Park race circuit.  Those wishing to go further than their taster session will be offered a free CBT on the Saturday or Sunday (Honda head office is a licensed motorcycle training venue).

On official Ride to Work day on 16 June Honda will be offering a complimentary breakfast and refreshments for any associate riding to work any day that week.

As part of Honda’s strategy to increase licence holders and riders in the UK, free CBTs are now available to all Honda associates based at its head office supported with a discounted bike loan scheme.  Honda has also recently introduced subsidised full licences courses that can be paid through monthly salary contributions to make the two wheel journey even easier.
