Jimmy Buchan rip

Jimmy Buchan, one of Scotland’s best road racers, has died. He was 81 and had suffered from Parkinson’s disease.

Jimmy won the junior and senior races in the 1956 Manx GP.

Born and raised in Perth, Jimmy came from a biking family. His father, Jack, raced in the thirties and his brother Donald competed in trials and owned Buchan Motorcycles.
