The all-new two-day Action Sports Music Live – organised by MXoN team boss Mark Chamberlain – will be held next month over the weekend of the 11/12 August at The South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex.
World-class athletes are signed up for a diverse range of sporting spectacles under the banner of Action Sports, while leading acts from the music scene will perform and entertain on the Music Live stage.
The inaugural Supercross UK Open, on Saturday 11 August, is gearing up to be a hotbed of fast and furious action with top-level riders from the UK going flat out in tactical battle. Tommy Searle, Steven Clarke, Jack Brunell, Jordan Booker and Matt and Chris Bayliss have already signed up and can be relied upon to give it their all to take the win.
“You can expect the racing to be highly-charged and brutal as four riders, together with two wildcards, will go head-to-head in short and sharp heat races to gather as many points as possible,” says Chamberlain. “Those points will determine which riders will line up for the final.”
Elsewhere in the showground, the highly-skilled Bolddog trio of Dan Whitby, Samson Eaton and Arran Powley will take to the air and give the crowd something to shout about as they flip and whip their way through their insane tricks. Multi-world trials champ and Scottish Six-Days Trial conqueror Dougie Lampkin will be in action too.
Away from the high-octane entertainment, kids from the age of three can get stuck in with try-out sessions on the Torrot range of electric bikes. Riding kit and tuition will be available.
