NEC consultation

Jobs are set to be cut at The NEC Group after it revealed plans to carry out an organisational review which could lead to a restructure as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Birmingham-based events giant has said it has been “greatly impacted” by the crisis, with pre-pandemic annual revenues of £160m falling to almost zero between the middle of March and September. In a statement, the business said it now needs to carry out an employee consultation process to “ensure the longevity of the business”.
