Padgetts teams up with TT Star for promo campaign

Padgetts Motorcycles has teamed up with Conor Cummins, the Isle of Man’s quickest TT rider, for a new social media video campaign.

Developed in partnership with Radar Video, the campaign has produced a series of videos that highlight the racer’s passion for Honda bikes.

Cummins joined New Zealand’s 11-time TT winner Bruce Anstey to ride with the Batley-based squad in 2017.

Commenting on the campaign, Clive Padgett said: “Radar Video has developed a creative campaign that captures our passion for the sport. Social media is a great way to connect with our customers and it’s important to have great video content for our campaign.”  

Cummins has achieved six TT podium finishes and is the eighth fastest rider of all time at the 110-year-old event, having posted a lap of 131.767mph.

Derek Blair, founder of Radar Video, said: “Social media is a powerful tool when it connects with a customer’s passion. Conor is a great ambassador for the brand with a big fan base. We will seed the campaign using advanced profiling technology to maximise the return on investment.”

The video will be released shortly.

Padgetts Motorcycles, based in Batley, West Yorkshire, was founded by Peter Padgett and his brother Don in 1958. Approaching its 55th anniversary it is one of the most successful and established motorcycle dealerships in the UK.

Padgett’s Motorcycles has a strong association with Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha and is a longstanding retailer of all three manufacturers, with more than 50 years’experience with each.
