Pure Moto builds portfolio

Freshly remonikered this year from Internetology, the Shad luggage UK distributor since 2018, Pure Moto, is planning to both drive Shad to the next level and establish a stable of strong motorcycle aftermarket brands alongside it. To this end, Pure Moto owner Jos Medinger has already recruited Puig and Ermax, both well-known leaders in aftermarket screens, bodywork and accessories.

“These brands are a great fit,” says Medinger, a ten-year trade veteran. “And to support them we have established a team of five sales representatives covering the UK and Ireland, under new national sales manager Gavin McCaffery. They will be backed by technical and dealer support from our HQ in North Wales.”

According to Medinger, his distribution company’s storage capacity has doubled in the past 12 months and will double again during 2021, to accommodate growth in demand. Pure Moto is also launching an online B2B trade portal listing all products and variants. Dealers will have multiple levels of access allowing easy ordering for all staff within a single organisation. Of course, telephone and email enquiries or orders will still be welcome too.

“Pure Moto’s aim is to be a one-stop destination for in-demand aftermarket products and our portfolio will grow in the future, given the right product availability and market conditions,” adds Medinger. “Highly competitive dealer margins and a large choice of bespoke indoor merchandising are available, without the need for a big stock holding or financial commitment from dealers. They can start to sell Shad and the other brands from as little as £500.”
