race clothing company up for sale

A London-based motorcycle clothing company is up for sale.

Arc-On is best known for its race suits and its “world-first” apex race glove incorporating Forcefield armour.

Arc-On was founded in 2009 and has been in the BSB paddock every year since, with more than 25 racers, including Dan Linfoot, Steve Brogan, Aaron Zanotti and most recently David Allingham, using its kit.

The company retails direct via its website and at events.

Owner Ian Gillett told BDN: “I’m selling as I think I’ve taken it as far as I can on my own. It’s all set up for someone with more industry contacts and a finely-honed route to market to take it on and let it reach its potential.

“We’re not in front of enough people, when they are making their buying decision.”

Sales are predominantly in the UK but we also export to Holland, Russia and America.
