BDS Racing, the team behind rider Jack Kennedy in the BSB Supersport 600 class, is appealing to dealers to be on the lookout for a host of stolen goods after a break-in at its compound.
The hi-spec parts and equipment are for the team’s MV Agusta F3, and the request for help was made by Hampshire MV Agusta Tsingtao Racing boss Dave Tyson.
Tyson said that the team’s race truck had been broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning [11 May].
Police are investigating.
“All our spares have been taken along with engines, suspension, exhausts etc,” Tyson revealed. “We will have a full list once the police have finished with the truck today. Nine trucks owned by the company where we store our vehicle were damaged and product stolen.
“If you could spread the word through your distributors and shops hopefully this kit will come to light and we can get some of it back. In the meantime, if you are able to help with spares and anything else please email me and it be greatly appreciated.
“We have insurance but this only covers the truck in transit and at race tracks so this is a total loss to the team.
“This leaves the team in a very delicate position.”
