SCOOTER TITLES MERGED BY MORTONS

Mortons Media has consolidated the long-established Classic Scooterist title into its mainstream magazine Scootering.

Veteran Classic Scooterist editor and founder Mau Spencer will now be working alongside Scootering editor Dan Clare, in what is billed as a collaboration: “to give the scooter scene the very best in news, reviews, features, lifestyle, rally reports, classics, customs, nostalgia and so much more, all in one monthly magazine.”

Putting maximum positive spin on their union, Mortons publishing director Dan Savage said: “It’s a significant move for the scooter scene and, having listened to the readers of both magazines, we felt that the time was right to bring everything under one roof. With two editors working on one magazine alongside our brilliant contributors, we’ll literally be doubling our efforts to make Scootering Incorporating Classic Scooterist the only place to get your scooter fix.”

He believes that the merger will mean availability of Classic Scooterist content will be much wider through the retailer network, and more frequent, giving greater value to its advertising base.
