suzuki specials … tax concessions

Suzuki has produced two new special editions – a GSX-S1000 Carbon Edition and GSX-S1000F Tour Edition. The bikes come in both the firm’s signature MotoGP blue and the contrasting red-and-black colour scheme.

The GSX-S1000 Carbon Edition comes with an RRP of £9499, or £9999 with ABS. The Tour Edition GSX-S1000F retails for £10,299.

The Treasury has revised its proposals on mandatory quarterly tax reporting, removing small firms and the self-employed with modest turnovers from the Maxing Tax Digital proposals. This means that in addition to the 1.6 million small businesses that were already excluded, a further 1.3 million small firms will no longer be in scope. This means that half of the UK’s 5.4 million small businesses will now not be affected by quarterly tax reporting.

Small businesses are managing to absorb the cost of the national living wage while maintaining slow but steady growth in jobs and wages, according to the Federation of Small Businesses. Its view is predicated on a fall in unemployment to 1.64 million, or 4.9%.
