SWINTON BACKS TEENAGE BSB STAR

The specialist motorcycle arm of major broker Swinton Insurance has appointed rising British Superbike Championship star Bradley Ray as its first youth ambassador, to promote road safety awareness among young riders.

19-year-old Buildbase Suzuki BSB team member Ray hails from Kent. He began his junior racing career on minimoto and miniGP bikes at the age of six and took part in his first championship at just 13. He finished third in last year’s British Supersport Championship

Commenting on this tie-up, Swinton’s motorcycle unit head Dan Agate said: “We have been following Bradley’s rise to success in recent years and we’re really excited to work with him. He’s a real inspiration to the young biking community. We hope our partnership will encourage young motorcyclists to think about their safety and encourage more fans to get into the sport.”

Bradley Ray is also attending this year’s BikeFest South, on 11 June at the Goodwood circuit, and will present prizes to Swinton’s “Young Biker of the Year”. This competition will encourage young riders to showcase their safe riding skills.
