Auto Trader has named the BMW S1000RR has its best bike of 2019, saying the machine set a “new level of superbike performance”.

The Beemer won the award from a shortlist of 30 models judged across 11 categories.

Auto Trader said: “Ten years after the first generation of RR first mesmerised the world of motorcycles, the 2019 BMW S1000RR is a major departure from previous models. Agile, accurate and refined, it has entered a new level of superbike performance.”
