Turkish delight for Energica

High-end electric superbike maker Energica has signed a deal with a new Turkish importer. The Italian brand – which currently supplies the Ego Corse race bikes used in the MotoE electric MotoGP support series – has inked a new agreement with Ankara-based importer Koza Ins. Tic.

Turkey is currently pushing hard for the growth of electric vehicles, and is setting up a scheme that gives 20% discounts on charging stations, while massively expanding its charger network.

“We are really excited to approach the Turkish market with Koza Ins. Tic.,” says Giacomo Leone, Energica sales and field marketing director. “This new agreement is a great opportunity to expand our network in a country that looks with great interest at the development of e-mobility.”
