win a Thruxton and an AJS in museum raffle

The National Motorcycle Museum is reminding bike enthusiasts that there is still time to buy tickets for its winter raffle in which the first prize is a new Triumph Thruxton R. The Thruxton, which comes with a factory-fitted Track Racer kit, is worth £13,800 and will be registered to the lucky winner in April.

Second prize is a 1954 AJS Model 18 500cc – a matching-numbers example of “a practical and useable post-war classic”.

There’s a third prize of a luxury “classic” weekend break for two people.

The draw will take place on Sunday 23 April at the International Classic Motorcycle Show, Stafford.

Tickets cost just £2 each from the Solihull-based museum on (01675) 444123 or ordered securely on-line from
