POOR 2017 START FOR BMW

Media relations staff at BMW Motorrad in Munich obviously didn’t include observing scrupulous honesty in their New Year Resolutions list. According to them, BMW’s global retail bike sales in January flagged “a good start to the year” with a total of 7503 motorcycles and maxi-scooters shifted out of dealerships. In fact, that represented negligible growth of just 0.2%.

British registrations were 17.8% down to 263 units.
