EBR makes European debut at MotoDays Roma

US manufacturer Erik Buell Racing (EBR) made its first public appearance in Europe at the MotoDays exhibition in Rome on 6–9 March. The EBR 1190RX model was spotlighted on the stand of EBR Europe, and the EBR Race Replica on display was a clear reference to EBR’s ambitious plans in the motorsport arena, including the Superbike World Championship and the AMA series in the USA.

Along with 143,800 visitors – the same attendance as last year but without bicycles, which now have their own standalone show (attendance 18,000) – many motorcycle dealers took advantage of MotoDays Roma to get acquainted with EBR.

EBR received special attention from a group of Buell riders, who greeted the new brand with a ‘Welcome Back’ banner.
The first EBR sport bikes will be in the showrooms of EBR’s European dealers this month.

Talking about the event in general, MotoDays manager Mauro Giustibelli was upbeat about the range of major manufacturers in attendance and listed the presence of the the new Ducati Diavel, the Peugeot 300 Geopolis R, the Piaggio Beverly S, the entire range Italmoto and also the European debut of the EBR as highlights.
