Grant Mackintosh on the Road to Recovery

Grant Mackintosh of Australian company Draggin Jeans is on the road to recovery after a serious motorcycle accident. On a brighter note, the jeans Mackintosh invented proved their worth and he suffered no abrasion injuries.

The accident occurred when CEO Mackintosh swerved to avoid a cyclist who had lost control on a bend and was coming towards him on the wrong side of the road.

Mackintosh sustained multiple injuries and was in high dependency for several days. Injuries include a slight fracture of the skull, causing a brain haemorrhage but thankfully no cognitive damage. He also suffered a fractured thoracic vertebrae, a fractured sternum and at least eight broken ribs.

A spokesman for Draggin said: “Obviously Grant has been suffering severe pain but is now on the road to recovery at Calvary Rehab in South Australia and is as usual pushing himself every day.”
