HOW HARLEY-DAVIDSON KILLED ITSELF

After many years of reporting on the health or otherwise of allegedly iconic US motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson, BDN financial editor Roger Willis makes no attempt to disguise his circumspect attitude to the company’s well-being.

One recent expression of this has been his introduction of a “Hog-ometer” tracking the often wildly erratic fluctuations of Harley’s share price in BDN’s weekly guide to global motorcycle industry stock market performance.

And now it appears that leading Canadian online bike aftermarket retailer FortNine has a similar opinion of the brand’s feeble prospects, posting an extremely clever, cruel and funny analysis on the FortNine YouTube channel.
