Is the Suzuki Recursion concept a reality?

Could the Suzuki Recursion concept about to become reality? A Japanese bike magazine, YM [Young Machine] has released what appears to be a picture of a production version of the 588cc turbo-charged parallel twin, shown at the end of last year at the Cologne (pictured), Milan and Birmingham shows.

The image features a number of similarities to the turbo concept, including a belly pan exhaust, two-cylinder engine and half-fairing setup, but the front end looks similar to Suzuki’s own 1100cc six-cylinder Stratosphere concept released in 2005.

The Recursion is said to make 100hp at 8000rpm with peak torque of at 4500rpm, overcoming the poor mid-range associated with early turbo systems.

It weighs 174kg and offers 50 per cent better fuel economy than a sports 600, according to Suzuki.
