VECTRIX SOLD INTO OBLIVION

Assets of bankrupt electric scooter manufacturer Vectrix are to be auctioned off on 18 June, by order of court-appointed liquidator Warren Agin.

This auction will take place at the company’s former HQ in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Online bidding will also be available through BidSpotter. Items for sale include 75 complete Vectrix scooters, about 100 new Lithium Ion batteries suitable for use in Vectrix scooters and about £1m-worth of spare parts. Office, workshop and assembly equipment will also go under the hammer. A complete auction guide is available online at http://bit.ly/vectrix.

Intellectual property rights relating to the Vectrix brand and product range may also be added to the auction catalogue, according to liquidator Agin.
