BBC launches new custom bike and car show

It’s not every day that the BBC promotes positive images of motorcycling, so it’s good to see a new show from Auntie with a healthy dose of bike content. The Speedshop, introduced by presenter Titch Cormack, features custom builds on retro bikes and cars, and is on BBC2 at 8pm on Sundays. Filming is based at Cormack’s workshop in Poole, but there’s set to be plenty of action-packed adventures in store too.

Hull-born Cormack is a former Royal Marine and ex-special forces operator, and there’s more than a hint of Guy Martin about him. Will a mix of Martin, Henry Cole and Andy McNab work as a primetime BBC program? We’ll be finding out soon.
