HomeNEWSCASH FOR COBRA SPORT EXPANSION

CASH FOR COBRA SPORT EXPANSION

Sheffield-based automotive exhaust manufacturer Cobra Sport has secured an £850,000 finance package from NatWest to fuel entry into new markets.

Cobra Sport built its reputation producing stainless steel exhausts for high-end motor sports and has been looking to move into motorcycle exhaust products. According to Cobra managing director Rachel Abbott, the investment will facilitate this ambition and enable the company to acquire a second site for its R&D team.

“As the business has grown over the past few years, we’ve been keen to extend our specialist engineering skillset,” said Abbott. “It has become increasingly important that we secure a a new site that would allow us the physical space to widen our product offering, both meeting current needs and future plans for growth.”
