Close Brothers appoints four

Close Brothers Motor Finance has expanded its motorcycle division with four appointments.

·         Zoe Taylor will be responsible for the South-East. Taylor has 15 years’ experience in automotive and finance, having previously worked at Volkswagen and GM Financial.

·         James Ellwood will focus on the South-Central region. Ellwood worked for Bauer Media for seven years, the last three within the motorcycle team looking after publications such as MCN and Classic Bike. His experience allows him to offer expert market intelligence and insight to ensure value is added to the relationship with dealers.

·         Carl Birch will be responsible for the South-West. Birch has more than 16 years’ experience in automotive and finance, mainly in car dealerships, but he has a passion for motorcycles.

·         Natalie Young will focus on the East and West Midlands. Young has more than two decades’ experience in the industry, having previously worked at Mercedes-Benz, Auto Trader and Manheim.

The new team, who are experts in funding and finance solutions, are also equipped to support dealers with regulation and compliance.

Neil Richardson, Head of the Motorcycle Division at Close Brothers Motor Finance, added: “Supporting motorcycle dealers is a crucial part of our business and these strategic appointments will help us to improve these relationships, as well as enabling new business operations.”
