cmc to open another used-bike store

CMC Motorcycles is to open a new dealership on the east side of Manchester. The group has announced that work is to begin imminently on the new branch at Openshaw. It hopes to have the new facility, which will sell second-hand bikes, open by May and is recruiting service technicians, administrators, motorcycle sales staff and workers for the café, clothing, parts and accessories and valeting departments.

CMC Motorcycles is an award-winning, family-run business based in the Midlands, with branches at Clay Cross, near Chesterfield – its headquarters – Nottingham, Cannock, Stoke and Newport in South Wales.

The company has the Yamaha franchise at Clay Cross, Nottingham, Cannock (relocated last year and doubled in size to become a destination dealership) and Newport. In addition, CMC has a used-only bike dealership at Coleshill and CMC’s clothing/accessories Discount Outlet located at Clay Cross.

The group also recently opened Chesterfield Cycle Centre near to the town centre which sells bicycles and pedelecs.
