Dainese dealers and customers in Brands Hatch treat

The final round of the British Superbike Championship saw Dainese, the official safety partner for the series, host an exclusive made-to-measure one-piece suit event, known as Fit-Net.

Customers from all over the UK signed up for the event, which included being measured by Silvano Celi, the craftsman who is responsible for creating D-air suits for Valentino Rossi, Tom Sykes, Leon Haslam and Guy Martin, among a host of other top names.

The customers were treated to a lap in the BSB course car, a one-on-one with the Dainese design crew and the opportunity to meet Milwaukee Yamaha’s Tommy Bridewell, who relies on Dainese protection.

Several key Dainese dealers were on hand during the day, including Silvermachine’s Nigel Foxhall and Bike Stop’s Martin Brown

“This was a superb initiative” said Brown. “We had five customers here and they all have had a great day. One even flew in from Crete just to get measured and he left completely satisfied.”

Foxhall echoed Brown’s sentiments: “We had eight customers here over the weekend and they really appreciated the VIP experience. “

James Barclay from Solihull, who booked the day through Silvermachine, commented: “I was thinking about a made-to-measure Dainese suit and when I saw the Brands Hatch opportunity it just tipped me into going ahead. What a day! I was measured by Silvano, who is Rossi’s tailor, and I even had Tommy Bridewell help me design a suit that I now can’t wait to get.”
