DEVITT KICKBACK SHOW HAS SPRING IN ITS STEP

No doubt praying fervently that Boris Johnson’s lockdown exit road-map will stay on schedule, organisers have announced a Sunday 23 May date for this year’s revival of the Kickback Custom and Retro Bike Show — just six days after a third step of the government plan should allow a degree of mass hospitality and events.

The show is set to take place in Cheltenham’s charming classical-style Town Hall and the adjacent Imperial Gardens. And once again, motorcycle insurance broker Devitt is headline sponsor. A plethora of top-drawer custom, retro and restored machinery is billed to appear. And there are both outdoor and indoor bars and cafés for thirsty and hungry bikers.

However, due to Covid protocols, the organisers can only permit half-capacity attendance at any one time, so they have introduced separate morning and afternoon sessions. It’s therefore an all-ticket event with limited numbers. These sessions are split into 10am-1.30pm and 1.30pm-5pm.
