DEVITT RELAUNCHES SCREENTRADE

Long-established specialist motorcycle insurance broker Devitt has relaunched the Screentrade online broking brand it bought from Lloyds TSB three years ago.

Screentrade was the first-ever online insurer, created by software house Misys in 1997 and used by Lloyds to sell car insurance since 2001. The latest Devitt version offers policies from underwriters including Ageas, Aviva, Axa, Equity Red Star, LV and Zenith for bike, car and van cover.

Commenting on this move, Devitt managing director William Hughes said: “Screentrade has been a prominent player in the car insurance market for years under Lloyds TSB. We’re going to be building upon the brand profile once again, as our research has indicated that there is still strong Screentrade brand recognition in the UK.”
