Electric bike set for TT Zero

The Saroléa SP7 electric superbike, unveiled on 26 April at the Mettet circuit in Belgium, is all set for TT action. The Belgian company is partnered by Bridgestone tyres, which is providing technical support and tyre expertise for track testing and racing.

The SP7, with carbon-fibre monotube chassis, can reach 100kph in 2.8 seconds on its way to 250 kph at full throttle. To harness this power Bridgestone will fit the SP7 with Battlax V02 slicks, constructed with its latest “GP belt” technology.

As well as the TT Zero Challenge at the Isle of Man TT series, The SP7 is entered in the FIM eRoadRacing world cup series.
