Enduro recalls

Husqvarna and GasGas dealers should be in line for some extra workshop time as a result of a recall on both brands. The affected models are Husqvarna’s MY22 FE and TE, and for GasGas it’s all MY22 EC enduro models.

The front brake is the culprit in both cases; “A possible deviation relating to the fitment of the locking split pins mounted to the holding bracket may result in the brake pads becoming detached from the machine” is the reason given by Husqvarna for the recall, but GasGas is slightly less specific with, “there may be a small issue with the front brake caliper”. Whether it’s the same problem is not clarified. However, owners of affected models should be notified directly, and any worried customers should check the service area of the relevant manufacturer’s website.
