FORMER JLR BOSS TO OVERSEE NORTON

After serving as chief executive of Jaguar Land Rover for 11 years, German automotive industry veteran Sir Ralf Speth has joined the board of directors of Norton Motorcycles parent TVS Motor and will become its chairman, effective from January 2023.

Speth is widely acclaimed for transformation of the JLR brands into a global force and previously held several senior roles within major automotive businesses, including BMW and Ford. He was knighted in 2018 for contributions to British industry and also named as a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2020.

Norton is currently finalising construction of its new factory in Solihull, which is expected to commence production in the middle of this year.
